Preparation and tests for surgery

Examinations prior to elective surgery include evaluation of laboratory blood values:

  • clinical blood count;
  • biochemical blood test;
  • coagulogram (blood coagulation analysis).

Assessment of the cardiovascular system:

  • electrocardiogram (ECG);
  • X-ray of the lungs;

This list is standard for all surgeries.

Additional examinations will be required for patients in the older age group, and in the presence of chronic heart and lung diseases. The examination takes only a few hours. The operation is done on the same day. For your comfort and to save time, all procedures are made as simple as possible and take place in the clinic.
